To all Fathers

The work of a father is often untold, yet profoundly felt and experienced. As fathers, in companionship with a loving and genuinely caring woman, you stand firm in your role of care and provision. Your efforts and actions—from thought, idea, and execution to delivery—speak volumes. The words “thank you” may not always be heard, but the smiles on the faces of those you care for reflect their appreciation and the fruits of your labor.
Many may not understand the pain and sweat of your hard work. To them, what matters most is that you showed up, provided for them, put a roof over their heads, and paid the bills. Being a good father is not about grand gestures but about appreciating those who honor the little you give by using it purposefully, enriching them both physically and spiritually.
To be a father is to guide, extend your hand beyond your immediate circle, and foster a network of friends and family. It is about nurturing your environment into a social network that promotes goodness in you. To be a father is to lead with love, presence, and a sense of responsibility—not just through public displays of affection or lavish gifts, but through the heartfelt care and thought you put into your actions.
Remember to expect less in terms of physical thanks, for you may never be explicitly thanked, but you will be missed for your leadership as a father when you are gone. Appreciate your role and be humble until the end.
Happy Father’s Day to you all.
